Divisions

  1. Building & Permitting

    The Building Department reviews building plans, issues building permits, provides inspections, issues business tax receipts and enforces property maintenance codes.

  2. Business Tax Receipts

    All businesses located in the Town of Ponce Inlet are required by Florida Statutes Chapter 205 and Chapter 22 of the Town's Code of Ordinances and to apply for a Business Tax Receipt on an annual basis.

  3. Code Enforcement

    Learn about rental licenses and permits, code violations and more.

  4. Cultural Services

    Parks and Recreation develops and implements educational and recreational programming and opportunities in all town parks and coordinators special events in the Town.

  5. Finance

    Learn about budgets, financial reports and bid information.

  6. Fire Department

    Ponce Inlet provides high quality fire and rescue services with a combination staff of career and volunteer professionals.

  7. Human Resources

    The Town's Human Resource Department is a "one stop shop" for its employees and public officials who have questions or issues with benefits, payroll, leave accrual usage, as well as medical and workers' compensation.

  8. Information Technology

    Information Technology section is responsible for planning and providing efficient, reliable and innovative technology solutions to Town departments, as well as citizens, business partners and outside agencies.

  9. Museum / Historical Programs

    The Ponce Inlet Historic Museum contains two historic Florida Cracker-style cottages that have been restored to their original layout. The Museum is dedicated to education through the preservation and dissemination of the history and cultural heritage of the Town of Ponce Inlet.

  10. Planning & Zoning

    Planning and Zoning staff works with and provides support to the Planning Board, Parks, Recreation and Tree Advisory Board, Historic and Archaeological Preservation Board, and the Accession Committee.

    Our Department is fully accredited by the Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation. We strive to lead our profession with honor, integrity and professionalism.

    The Public Works Division handles all facets of water services including meter installations, disconnections, meter readings, water distribution system and water breaks.

  15. Town Manager

    The Town Manager is the Chief Administrative Officer of the Town. He/She is appointed by the Town Council and oversees the day-to-day operations of the Town.

  16. Utility Billing

    The Utility Billing and Customer Service program administers the Town's integrated utility billing and customer information system.
