Duties & Responsibilities


The Town's Human Resource (HR) Department is a "one stop shop" for its employees and public officials who have questions or issues with benefits, payroll, leave accrual usage, as well as medical and workers' compensation.

The HR Department assists all town employees within the scope of the Employee Rules and Regulations with fair treatment. The HR Tech conducts all open enrollment periods for employees to ensure that they are aware of benefits that they may be eligible for and coordinates evaluations with supervisors. They also maintain personnel files to ensure all required data is compiled and maintained in accordance with the state retention requirements.
One goal of the human resource department is to increase effective communications with employees and to retain talented employees while providing a safe workplace.
