Special Events permits revoked during the month of March

In accordance with the recommendations of the Federal Center for Disease Control, the State of Emergency declared by Governor DeSantis, and the Emergency Declaration of the Town of Ponce Inlet, all special event permits issued for events during the month of March are being revoked effective immediately.  Specifically, these include the Marine Science Center’s Turtle Day and Jerry’s Reggaefest.  Please note that Federal recommendations as of March 16, 2020 are to avoid gatherings of groups of 10 or more.  We apologize for any inconvenience and encourage all residents, businesses, and visitors to do their part to control the spread of COVID-19.  For more information on precautions you should take, please visit the CDC website https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-nCoV/index.html .  We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
