Engine 78, our primary firefighting apparatus, is a 2009 E-One Typhoon fire engine. It has the ability to carry up to 4 firefighters, with a tank of 800 gallons of water, and has a pumping capability of 1250 gallons per minute.
Medic 78 is a, 2008 Horton, Freightliner, medium duty ambulance and rescue truck. It is used as our primary patient care and transport apparatus.
Medic 79 is a, 2001 Ford F350, 4X4, Type One Ambulance. It is used as our secondary patient care and transport apparatus. Its 4X4 capabilities are highly useful for responses on the beach.
Attack 78 is a 2009 Pierce, Ford F550, 4X4 mini pumper and wildland fire suppression apparatus. It carries up to 2 firefighters, 350 gallons of water and has a pumping capacity of 750 gallons per minute.
