The Florida Hurricane Restoration Reimbursement Grant Program awards up to $150,000 per property, on a first-come, first-served basis, to reimburse the costs of sand placement, temporary coastal armoring, and/or permanent coastal armoring, (including repairs, replacement or new armoring). The grant portal opens tomorrow, February 1st, at 9:00 AM. Property owners should begin reviewing the materials and setting up a DEP Grants User account today.
